Yakima started with hardcore kayaker cyclist founders, Steve Cole and Don Banducci. We are a group of wild souls who want to give everyone freedom to wonder.

From skiing powder-covered peaks or kayaking on rushing whitewater to resting in secret camp spots or roaming the open road, our gear-mounting system and outdoor products can take you anywhere you want to take it easy.

Secure 4-Bike Transport: Carry up to 4 bikes, including road, mountain, or hybrid bikes; TubeTop (sold separately) is required for non-conventional, step-through, BMX, kid’s bikes, and some full suspension bikes.
Bike Capacity: Holds up to 4 bikes (max 30lb per bike) or 120lb total. Not compatible with e-bikes.
Convenient Design & Robust Build: Heavy-duty for stability on the road with a tilt-down mechanism for easy access; compatible with the optional DeadLock system for added bike and carrier security.
